Our People
SaskCentral is an organization that goes above and beyond to ensure their employees are happy. That includes providing an environment where employees feel heard; ensuring that work-life balance is maintained and arming each employee with opportunities for professional development.
We strive to build a positive corporate culture and personality by communicating with employees on a regular basis using various methods, conducting employee surveys and opinion polls on various topics, and, just as important, by having fun.
What Our Employees Say
“Human centric design is at the heart of everything we do. Employees are treated as the most important part of the business and it shows, particularly during the pandemic when it came to supporting health and safety needs. HR policies were quickly revised to ensure employees were able to take care of their families and themselves.”
“We are a very caring, respectful and friendly organization. We want to know how you are feeling whether its personal or business. If you need help, others will help to carry the workload. And, we celebrate anything that is happy – birthdays, work anniversaries or even just because.”
“This organization really cares about their employees and its culture. It is a safe atmosphere where you’re treated kindly and you have the ability to be yourself.”
“For as long as I have been with this organization, it has always put employees first.”
“SaskCentral is a learning organization where you are constantly researching and learning.”
We Celebrate
We celebrate individual diversity here at SaskCentral.
We know it takes all types of personalities to make a strong team. Regular team building events take place across the organization. We strive to provide our employees with valuable and informative team building that strengthens them as individuals, employees and team members. One such example is DiSC – a personality and communication model, which provides a way for people to understand themselves and others and help build stronger, more effective working relationships.
Speaking of fun, we like to celebrate … a lot. Sharing success stories and congratulating employees on jobs well done is not always a big affair, it’s something that occurs daily.
